September 2007

2007/09/27 - Back again with a new review - our first review of a retail Wii game!  So what game is it?  Midway's Mortal Kombat: Armageddon of course.  With Mortal Kombat's 15th anniversary coming up in just a couple weeks, find out why this is one fighting series that is still going strong.  (Hint:  it's not just the blood and gore!)

This makes our 5th review, as well as the is also the first M-rated game we've reviewed here.  Wooh.  Milestones

Sailorneorune has another review coming up soon, but you'll have to wait until it's finished to see what it is.  Please look forward to it!.

2007/09/24 - The weekend is over, and it's back to work for everyone, but at least we've got a new review up for you all.  In today's review, wiimcast.com webmistress sailorneorune takes Super Metroid for a spin.  What does she think of the game?  There's only one way to find out, and that's to watch the review!

2007/09/23 - Added our third review today, this one is of the TurboGrafx 16 action game China Warrior.  Never heard of it before?  Not terribly surprised.  I hadn't either until it came out on the Virtual Console, and I owned a TurboGrafx 16 system back in the day (complete with the Turbo Booster Plus for RCA cable goodness and backup memory).

Well, since you're here, you may as well go watch it.  Heck, I know I'm going to... I can't get enough of this review.  The game I can do without, but at least the review was fun!

2007/09/22 - We now have TWO reviews up! Yay!

Super Mario 64 review is go! See what we think of this... *cough* classic.

2007/09/20 - Good times abound, and we're semi-launching the site today.  No we don't have much of anything to put up yet except an Urban Champion Virtual Console review, but hey, you gotta start somewhere, right?

So what is Wiimcast?  Wiimcast is what you get when a Sega Dreamcast and a Nintendo Wii love each other very much and live in harmony as the centerpiece of your entertainment center.  Because there IS room for two game consoles.  And you don't have to spend $400+ on your second one.

That being said, we've got another review in the pipeline (this one by webmistress sailorneorune), so look forard to that in the next couple of days.

Other than that, have fun, and please stick around and hang with us as the site grows.
